I am extremely disappointed with this light. I attempted to use it with a dimmable switch, which caused the light to flicker. My electrician informed me that because the light is non-dimmable, the internal driver has likely been fried. This should be more clearly labeled to prevent damage. Additionally, the light is very weak. It is not bright enough for a kitchen island, especially in a room with high ceilings. I now have to buy a new one.

I was looking for a track light with a remote control that wasn't outrageous. This light met that need. I wasn't crazy about black and gold, but I didn't see white or nickel. It does change colors and have buttons where you can set the colors and brightness you want to save. I just wish the remote came with a holder to put on the wall. It will come in a small box and I thought, no way a light can be in there. It's because the long rod comes in two pieces that you have to slide together. Not a neat and clean as I would have liked it, but who looks up there much and it's in my pantry.

I love the lights, very nice touch to my living room but the functionality of the remote is not user friendly.
