This is a fantastic lamp! I love the solid, sleek design...well made and super sturdy. Very bright or very dim - just adjust to the perfect level. I am extremely happy with this purchase!

The other reviews aren't kidding about how much light this lamp puts out. You can see a before and after picture of just how much this lamp illuminates my messy apartment. It's simple to put together, too.

Very pleased with the height, the brightness, weight and ease of use for this torchiere lamp. It fits unobtrusively in those spots where it is hard to get the light needed. Also good for "project" corners where you only need the bright light when working on close work but not all the time. Would buy another if they go on sale again. . . . not sure how long the non-replaceable bulb will continue to work.

Cool lamp and very bright. Just wish the dimmer function was a more standard up and down switch rather than long touch.
