Nice visual design. I like the light with select-able colour and brightness. The fan, once it's at the setting I want, does it's job great. I kinda wish the fan's slowest speed was a little slower. My main grumbles are around the fact that if you turn it off and then back on at the wall switch it remembers whether the light was on/off and the setting - but it doesn't remember if the fan was on or not. From the wall switch, it always defaults to the fan being off. This wouldn't be so bad if when you then turned on the fan from the remote it would remember the fan direction you had it set to last time. But it doesn't. It always defaults to the forward spinning direction. So then you have to stop the fan, press the fan direction button and when the fan has stopped spinning you can start it again in the direction you want. Or, before even starting the fan, press the fan direction button 2 or 3 times, which will start the fan in reverse direction at speed 3. Of course if you only run the fan in the forward direction, none of this will be an issue. Ditto if you only ever use the remote instead of the wall switch. There are 3 power buttons. One for the fan, one for the light, one to turn both fan and light off. The last one won't turn everything back ON to the previous settings, which would be logical to me. To be fair, the manual only mentions that the light has a memory function. To me, it would make sense that the fan had a memory function too. I thought about trying the app, but reading the comments and seeing that its rated at 2.4 stars I gave it a miss. I'm still deciding whether I'm going to keep the fan.

Received damaged and now I’m jumping through hoops to get my money back! I should’ve went into a local store. Lesson learned! I want to rate it 0 but obviously I can’t!
