Meakem 35" 7 - Blade Modern Ceiling Fan with LED Lights and Remote Control

I love this fan. It's just as pictured and it really makes the room cool and circulate the air.

I really wanted to love this fan. It seems so neat with the lights going around the blades. However, the fan is not easy to put together. There has to be a better way to mount these blades than the way they must be done. Secondly, the plastic piece that connects the fan does not fit- it will not screw on. Therefore, I didn't mount it because the fan can't be connected. Seems neat- lots of assembly for nothing!

I have mixed feelings about this fan. The font size of the instructions is extremely tiny and it was unclear that part of the fan has to be disassembled in order to put some pieces on, just to reassemble it again. Maybe this is intentional so you know how the pieces are supposed to be together but I had no idea. The rotating blades are plastic and colorless. The stationary blades are surprisingly sturdy and rich black but look somewhat cheap. I do like that its different from traditional fans.

I wasn’t sure how I felt about this fanlight when I ordered it. I felt like it MAY look too juvenile for my 13-year old who used to be a total Tom-Boy and is now starting to embracemore “girly” items. It definitely looks like a fun flower, but when the fan is on it looks so cool. The airflow is fantastic and it’s a huge improvement from the light fixture that was there. As you can see… the white fan also helps to brighten up the room. I’m not ready to paint those dark walls yet and this fan adds a light, fun piece of art to help balance it out.

OK, I would’ve given this product five stars, but the assembly of this thing is a pain in the rear! However, I had a lot of doubts that this fan was gonna even put off air, but it actually has great airflow and the light is phenomenal.
