It's fine, except the dimmer switch doesn't really dim much. There are two kinds of LEDs in the lamp: one with a low CCT (about 2700 degrees K), and one with a high CCT (about 6000 degrees K). You can have one set on full, the other set on full, or both sets on full. You can't have any of the LEDs dimmed.

Nice lamp but HATE the styrofoam! This is a solid, well built lamp. The switch is on the top of the stand and is a little hard to figure out--there's a lag from when you start pushing it till the light comes on. The really bad part: it was packed in about 2 cubic feet of styrofoam, not the recyclable kind. This is probably the manufacturer's choice but it's a bad one.
