This light fixture by Willa Arlo is indeed stunning. Upon opening the box, it was amazing at first site. Amazingly large, too! This fixture is exceptionally well built, it’s extremely heavy, well packaged, and beautiful. My husband of 78 years installed it by himself! It took him about 2.5 hours. When it came time to actually lift it, I did help him on a second ladder for no longer than two minutes. It would have taken half that time, but it has to sink into the hub. We both love the fact that the blades are metal, not plastic! Every part of the fixture is quality built. The crystals are preinstalled, no having to mess with adding time consuming hanging. The entire fixture is wrapped, safe guarding the crystals and fixture from any potential damage. As I mentioned this fixture is large. Larger than I had anticipated. I’m not sure if my space is large enough to handle the size. We may have to move it to a larger room. It is a gorgeous, well built, statement piece. One of the most beautiful fixtues that Wayfair has to offer. Yes, it is more expensive than most fixtures. However, I have seen similar fixtures, comparable to this one for over 2,000. This modern white fan is so much better looking than our outdated brown fan! It is sleek and since we have it attached to switches in our bedroom, we didn't even need to install the pull-chains. My husband has installed several fans and said this one wasn't the easiest to install. I love the look of it BUT the light is truly laughable. It is like a spotlight....shines directly downward and does not emit any light to the sides so basically we just have one spotlight in the middle of our room. Awesome upgrade!! It took a few days to arrive & when I received it I initially was worried about the hue of the gold tone...but once it was up I am so happy for the purchase. The installation seemed pretty straightforward out of the box....my handyman put it up fairly quick. Only critique was the battery that came with the remote was dead....so he fumbled with the fan/remote for an extra 10 min thinking something went wrong with the install...only for us to figure out that it was only the battery that was the culprit.
