These work great, and with only four bulbs, it is very bright in my stairwell. The base is a little large at the top, and one of the sticks covering does not push all the way down, so I had to use a different bulb because of this. You can sort of see what I am saying in the picture. I also really don't like the yellow filament. I know that is how they all are. Hopefully they will come up with a clear one day.. Toni. These light are very pretty and exactly what I was looking for. Its almost like an Amber light which gives a calming effect to a room. Its softer, I think, than a warm white.
