It was extremely easy to install, since it's just basic wiring and we we're replacing, it took only 15 minutes. The material quality is pretty impressive, however there were some issues with the manufacturing quality. The cap on the top is uneven and if you look at it parallel, you can tell it seems a bit off. I bought 2 lamps for my outdoor post. They are absolutely beautiful and very rich looking. Easy to install, and easy to replace bulbs based on the design. I have received numerous compliments on these lamps. I think the size is perfect - I went with the large lamps. This lamp is great quality and made well. You cannot go wrong with this purchase. I'm very pleased and I would like to note that I had purchased another brand prior to the Hinkley lamps and returned them do to the poor quality and how they were made and I am so happy I did. The packing they arrived in was great and easy to open and remove product. The only thing one box was missing insturctions and the required screws so I had to head to the hardware store.
