The Gama Sonic Baytown II Solar l Post Light with one lamp head with bright-white LEDs is the perfect energy-saving and money-saving alternative to electric or gas-powered outdoor lighting for your yard. The post light is made from a heavy-duty rustproof, UV-protected black polyresin. The unit requires no electrical wiring or any other kind of utility hookup for installation. Sunlight provides all the energy. The included EZ-Anchor base makes setup tool-free in just minutes--no digging or cement required. Just use the included auger and turning bar to put the EZ-Anchor base in the ground where you want you to want it, add the ground stakes for extra stability, mount the post and lamp head on the base, and let the sun do the rest. The lamp head's internal Lithium Ion battery pack charges when sunlight hits any of the four integrated solar panels. At sundown, 10 bright-white LEDs turn on automatically and shine at 130 lumens. The unit is designed for dusk-to-dawn performance after the battery has received a full solar charge during the daytime. Gama Sonic's patented cone reflector enhances the light output and glow. The light's replaceable plugged battery pack is good for about 2,000 cycles. With proper setup for optimal sun exposure, a sunny day without cloud cover should be sufficient to provide a full recharge. Recharging speed will vary based on weather conditions, but no charging will occur if the direct sun does not shine on the solar panels. Do not locate the lamp post in a shaded area. Beyond providing a superior combination of light brightness, duration, and charging speed, Gama Sonic solar light fixtures are known for their physical durability. This unit's mono-crystalline silicon solar panels are protected by weather-resistant tempered glass and a second cleanable clear plastic shield, helping to ensure long-lasting performance.

I needed to camouflage my large concrete septic tank lid which sits below a portion of deck. It puts out tremendous light. I bought the 71” version but it swayed waaay too much. With rounded metal frames and cylindrical glass shades, ensuring compatibility with a variety of outdoor aesthetics. Finished in Textured Black or Antique Bronze and wet-rated for durability, the collection includes three sizes of wall sconces and a sleek flush mount, delivering a subtle glow that complements any exterior environment.

I love the lights and they look great! Pictures of old and new. Note: I painted the bulb collar to coordinate with my other exterior lights. Just a couple of small issues: a) the lights came with 3 screws to attach to a post but I need to attach to a pier mount base (Castellanos, which I purchased at the same time) so they don't work. I am in the process of trying to find a way to secure them, and b) there is about 1/4" gap between the glass and the base so water gets in. There are holes in the bottom of the base but it's a flat surface so I think water will stand - trying to find someway to seal it (other than using silicon).. Jana. Salt Lake City, UT. Love this lamp! Its just what I wanted because it's a downlight and lights up the ground underneath. I had to go out and buy some new plants to show off!. Charles. Springfield, VA. Thu Apr 23 2020
