Totally obsessed with this little gem. You would think it would be disappointing once installed since they are so affordable. However, it looks great and works even better. The description for this product is dishonest and inaccurate. The product description says it's a "Smart fan". This was an explicit requirement I had for purchasing this fan. After having the fan installed buy an electrician and downloading the app I am prompted to pay $4.99 weekly or $29.99 yearly to control the phone using the app. None of this is disclosed in the product description. There is a button in the app to "continue to limited version" which is supposedly free but there is no free version. It simply sends you in an endless loop where you are prompted to pay them to use the app. The manufacturer and product listing are dishonest and you're asking for trouble purchasing this fan. If you lose the remote or the remote brakes, you lose all ability to control the light or the fan. That was the entire purpose of purchasing a smart enabled fan so that if something happened to the remote it doesn't brick the device. This is outright fraud. Do not trust this listing.. Christian. The fan works great on the lower settings, but when it’s on the highest setting, it will pause every so often as if recharging. It’s not a big deal, though, because the lower settings produce a good breeze. What I don’t like is the fact that the warm light is not actually warm. It still has that creepy cold LED glow that reminds me of the movie The Shining. I also didn’t like that. There is no pattern on the ceiling from the Crystal looking lampshade. That said, it was a great price, and I am going to move it to a room where I need a ceiling fan but not a light.
