We’re happy with the size of these in comparison to our door. We originally had Edison bulbs in them like the hanging light. The bulbs looked too small and squatty. We replaced those bulbs with long tubes. Both tubes hung crookedly. On one light we could bend the socket enough for it to hang straight. The other socket wouldn’t move enough, (without fear of breaking it), to completely straighten the tube. This is more of an issue for All Modern and their lack of details on the specification page. This fixture is beautiful however, it comes with a very long rod already assembled making it difficult to adjust during the installation. We intend to hang this light from the canopy above our porch and the 31" rod makes it set far too low. We will have to take the fixture apart, cut and re-thread the extension rod and reassemble in order to make this a useful fixture. If the description had included this information I would not have ordered the light. It is custom made and non-returnable so I am stuck with it. I am building a new house and spending tens of thousands of dollars on line ordering lighting, fixtures, furniture etc. I will be unlikely to use All Modern again as I cannot trust that their descriptions are accurate.
