Made entirely of a glossy porcelain, several decorative versions are available.

This Sunflower Firefly 12" Table Lamp is inspired by fireflies and how they make their own light. It belongs to a collection of portable table lamps, which can be charged for autonomous lighting, with plant-inspired decoration recalling palm trees or lotuses. All the models have a silver-plated plaque on the base with Lladró’s flower logo, which is a combination touch switch and dimmer. At the rear of the base is a jack where a USB cable (not included) can be connected to the mains to charge the light. The LED module is integrated within the lamp. Once charged, the lamps have autonomy for 6 to 7 hours. They can be charged using a mobile phone charger with a USB jack. Chargers are not included. The USB cable is white and 1 metre long.

I was so disappointed that the lamp base arrived broken into many pieces. I had bought the "last one", so I couldn't do a replacement. The packaging seemed adequate, but one corner and edge of the box was significantly dented. The box was marked "Fragile" too. From what I could see, it shouldn't have broken. I didn't realize, however, that the lamp has no traditional electric cord; you have to use the USB to charge the batteries and use the batteries only. I do realize that that is my problem that I didn't understand what type of lamp this was, but not all of the lamps have the USB charging explanation either. I looked at all of these Firefly lamp types before making the decision to buy one. The lamp looked like it would be beautiful in one piece!. Beth. Albuquerque, NM. Wed Apr 10 2019
