This fixture is so cute and the fan is so quiet and very strong. The airflow I find is a bit columnar, so you feel it the most when directly under it, and lose it quickly to each side, but I'm using it in my office, right above where I sit, so it's absolutely perfect for this situation. I mounted it myself and it was not too difficult. The remote unit is a bit of a tight fit, and you might have to play with it from more than one side to get it to fit right within the bracket.
