This is the 2nd lamp I've ordered. The product is fairly well constructed and sturdy when it's assembled; except for the plastic sleeve (not the socket ring). The sleeve has male and female ends. The female end threads onto the socket before you can install the shade and socket ring on the male end. Some glue was applied to the female end before threading it onto the socket.
