It is very nice however hardwiring is not an option for me. The small light that is powered by the solar battery does not put off very much light. It is very dim compared to other solar lights I have on my property. Since I was installing mine on a wood rail I had to find 4 screws that were long enough to fit the base. The picture to advertise this item is very misleading. Main issues its not solar and it doesnt come with a post, as pictured. Im not sure where I would even put this to be hardwired.
