I couldn’t find reviews or real-life pictures of these lights anywhere, so I took a chance and hoped for the best. Thankfully it worked out. We hung these over our nightstands against a dark accent wall. I wanted amber glass to tie in with my throw blanket and curtains. These are not quite as amber as the stock photo, but I still like them. It’s really challenging to get an accurate picture with the light on, but it’s definitely softer and more amber than my pics show. It does not look like a big white circle - it’s more of a soft, even glow. Installation wasn’t too bad. I really like the matching fabric-wrapped cord. Overall I recommend these lights.. Kathy. KY.
