Perfect. Not sure why you want it written twice. I assembled it, but needed a couple of screw-in pieces tightened by her. The diagram was very simple and easy to follow. This lamp is surprising well made for the low price of $47. Easy to put together. I had to fiddle a bit with the attaching the last rod but was finally able to get the screw lined up correctly. All the pieces fit together snuggly so that the long rod looks like one piece. It should be noted that each short rod end has a protection ring that must be removed before you screw the rods together. The instructions fail to mention this. Heritage Brass

This is a beautiful lamp but had to get a replacement as the first lamp received appeared to be a return and was damaged. Customer service was absolutely THE BEST and I received a new replacement lamp that I am, for the most part, very pleased with. Be very careful taking hinged lamp outs of the styrofoam packing as the two lamps can swing down and hit the metal - might be better to use 2 people to unpack as we did (the adjustment screws are not tightened down in the styrofoam packing). The only reason for the 4 star review is that even on the replacement lamp, the screws that tighten down the lamp position don't want to stay in position and I don't want to tighten too much because it can strip the screws.
