The fan came damaged. The receiver doesn’t work. I reached out to wayfair for a replacement receiver. They contacted the manufacturer and the receivers aren’t available separately so wayfair sent me a replacement fan. I’m happy with the resolution of the problem. I received the new fan today and will update with photos as soon as I can install the new fan. Update wayfair replaced the fan and it’s very nice!! Works really well.. Deborah. Grand Island, NY. It looks great, the air circulation is good and the light is (very) bright. There are some quirks - you can choose from 6 different speeds but the higher the speed the higher the noise and on the high settings it generates a loud wind noise. FWIW, my living room is 12x20 and I do not need to use the high speeds under normal conditions. The wall switch will only turn on the light so I have to use the remote to turn the fan on/off (bit risky if the remote goes MIA or breaks). The light settings are very bright. It certainly brightens up the room, but with some glare. Unfortunately, It has no dimming options. It is ok for me because it's only on when cleaning. etc. The light does come with 3 settings - you will need to toggle the remote off/on to change each setting.
