Well, that was disappointing. Caracole makes a glorious piece, and I was excited to add to my bedroom. It arrived fully crated (which was fun) and is ~145 pounds so by the time I crowbarred the thing out and wrestled it upstairs, there was zero chance I was returning it... but if youre considering this piece, PLEASE look at the desktop color so you dont get the surprise I got. You cant tell from the stock photos how yellow — and, frankly, cheap-looking for a 2K piece — the tabletop is. I thought the entire piece was the soft metallic, and now have a real clash with my wallpaper. On the plus side, its gorgeous heavy, elegant, and genuinely distinctive... but UGH this top color.

Love this makeup vanity. So simple to put together and it very elegant. It really matched the vibe of my room.

10 out of 10! Gorgeous! Didn’t like that it wasn’t White Glove delivery (especially for price). Paid for 89 assembly. Should have sent two guys…had to help get it upstairs. The assembly guy did uncrate from FedEx packaging. Perfect boardroom to bedroom vanitydesk! Matches my Caracole bedroom set. Love it!

My guests love this for the bedroom. So much more functional than a dresser.

After retiring from a desk job, I was looking for something a bit less obtrusive. This Carocole piece was just the thing to finish my bedroom suite. I keep a laptop stored away easily under the lid. Love the Carocole brand, very high quality and beautiful design.
