I am extremely impressed. The double basket design is a game changer, allowing me to cook two different items at once, which is ideal for family meals or entertaining guests. I got this for our family cookouts, 10 people. it took about 34 of a gallon of oil per tank to just below the max line. The reason for the four stars is that I heated the oil up to 350°, but double checking with two different thermometers, the temperature was only about 325°. I turned it all the way up to 375° and both thermometers registered just over 350°. The items that I was frying did ok, but if you need a higher temperature, you might need to look elsewhere.
