I thought the height of the bench & backrest were going to be too short but it works. It is unexpectedly comfortable, sturdy, and well constructed if you can get over the fact that the legs are plastic not metal. It seems to hold my 250lb with no problems yet. I contacted Wayfair to try to get the legs exchanged for the metal ones as advertised. Even though they sell metal legs on the site, they said the parts are not available for this bench at this time. I worry that they won't be able to stand up to my weight for long. The bench lid only partialy opens and, though there is a piece of wood covering a third of the opening, there is still a fair amount of storage space...it is just harder to get into. One of the bench cushions came with a couple reddish stains. I'm dealing with it because I expect my family will quickly baptize them with their own drippings soon enough. I better scotchguard then asap! The material seems rather sturdy if a bit rough. I hope that means it will last through some heavy use. We'll see, there are some questionable spots when it comes to the durability of the upholstery job (see photos 3 & 4). The assemby instructions are simplistic but the whole process is pretty straightforward.

It was a nice surprise at how well constructed and the material used really beautiful and comfortable. The color was beige not white so you should change that more might buy it.

A little shorter than I thought but looks nice. Hoping they hold up over time.

Very nice bench and looks and fits great in the space it was intended for.
