Table looks great--its just the right size for my space, not too big and not too small. Seems sturdy, and heavy enough to not feel super cheap but still light enough I can slide it around by myself (5'4" 40 year old woman). And best of all, I can actually fit chairs comfortably, which I was worried about. I occasionally host 7 total people for family dinners, and my previous table was too small for that, especially as the girls get older. This table will be perfect. You can comfortably seat someone on either end of the table without them having to sit super far back from the table to avoid crushing their knees. And the design of the base is such that while I'll normally have 2 chairs on each long side, I can fit 3 chairs on a side without anyone getting stuck with a leg or support constricting them. I wouldn't necessarily say this table fits 8 for daily use, might be a bit tight squeeze for that, but for the occasional use I think it will fit 8 adults without anyone getting shafted. I spent forever looking for a table that could do that, that wasn't also far too big for my space, and this is just perfect. Quality is what you expect from Wayfair (or anywhere else these days)--its definitely veneer over MDF, most noticeable on the base, and for that the price seems a little high, but I feel like that's the case unless you're spending huge sums of money. So given that, overall quite pleased with the product--and assembly was a breeze! I had Wayfair assemble it but the guys told me as they were doing it--its basically tightening 8 bolts and you're done.
