I was looking for a sofa but had an extra twin mattress laying around. This daybed was definitely a solid choice over the sofa. The mattress is pretty thick so it takes a little of the backrest height away but it’s for lounging and reading so it works great

I have a strange small hallway that would not allow a sleeper sofa, so a daybed was the best option. I looked everywhere and read tons of reviews and finally landed on this one. So glad I did! The price was reasonable, it is super sturdy, I love the storage underneath and I like the style. The only thing I don’t love is there is a bit of a space between the mattress and the front or back of the frame. So I pulled the mattress all the way to the front and added the pillows on back to cover the gap (they also make it more comfy when using as seating).

It looks nice and was fairly easy to put together, but this does NOT fit a full size mattress. I ordered a full size mattress as this advertised as size sleeper sofa double/full and a full mattress is too wide. It measures at 43 inches wide for the mattress fitting which means you are looking at a twin mattress and you have a gap. A full mattress which measures at 54 hangs off about 10 inches off and looks tacky. Now I have to return a mattress I had delivered and I don’t have the transportation or strength. So buyer beware of mattress before you purchase.
