This was such a good price. We couldn't find anything comparable in the stores in our city so we went with Wayfair. We liked the barn door look as this was going into our 30 x 18 ft bedroom, which has a rustic decor. Our bedroom gets cool in the winter so we needed a little auxiliary heat. This works great for that and looks good too. I turn it on to 70 F around 4 pm. It's cozy warm by the time we go to bed at 10 pm. It's turned off then. We like a cool room for overnight. It is a little noisy so I'm glad we don't need it while sleeping. The loud fan is what is giving this fireplace a lower score. My husband put it together in a couple of hours. He followed the instructions and said it wasn't difficult. Another thing that buyers should be aware of, is that the doors have to be completely open for the remote control to work as the fireplace sensor is blocked if the door is just slightly over the screen, and I'm talking just an inch or so. It took us awhile to figure that out.
