Came a little damaged but looks great. Also Extremely EXTREMELY HEavy. You will need 3 men minimum. Can’t stress that enough. Did not expect this.

Really well made and simple to put together. I paired it with an epson projector and it fits in the drawer perfectly (I haven’t tried projecting yet). Solid piece!

We love this projector cabinet! It looks so nice and the remote control opening is fantastic! Our projector stays protected when in use and when not in use it's tucked away nicely, no messy cords. We are so happy with this purchase.

After purchasing the Povison Mid-Century Modern Electric TV Stand for my Epson QS100 UST projector, I had high expectations—both because of the design and the premium price point ($2,402.69). After setting it up and using it for a bit, here’s my honest breakdown of the experience. ⸻ Pros Excellent Packaging & Safe Delivery The unit arrived extremely well-protected. Oversized foam, reinforced corners, and thoughtful wrapping ensured that nothing arrived scratched or damaged. For a large electric furniture piece, the packaging quality gave me confidence right away. Solid, Well-Built Construction The frame feels sturdy, heavy, and noticeably higher-quality than most flat-pack furniture. The wood finish looks great in person, the sliding mechanism is smooth, and visually it absolutely delivers the premium mid-century aesthetic it promises. ⸻ Cons 1. The Remote Is Disappointingly Cheap For a piece of furniture at this price, the remote that opens and closes the main UST compartment is shockingly flimsy. • It feels like a budget $2 remote. • It looks out of place next to a $2K+ cabinet. • Batteries aren’t included — a surprising miss for something so essential. Because the motorized door is a central feature, the remote experience matters more than Povison seems to realize. ⸻ 2. Clearance Issues With UST Projectors (Epson QS100 Specifically) This cabinet is not perfectly plug-and-play with the Epson QS100. The projector beam was hitting the wooden frame, which means the advertised UST compatibility isn’t accurate for all models. I had to: • Adjust projector placement carefully • Reposition the shelf height • Make micro-adjustments to clear the frame This is doable, but not something you’d expect at this price. A few extra millimeters of vertical clearance would solve this for almost all UST projectors. ⸻ 3. Inadequate Cable & Ventilation Cutouts If you plan to store gaming consoles, streaming devices, or media hardware in the side shelves, be prepared for extra work. The pre-drilled holes are: • Too small for most modern cables • Not ideally placed for routing wires to a UST projector • Lacking proper ventilation for devices that run hot I ended up needing to drill additional/larger openings in the back panel. A better design would include: • Larger, oval-shaped cutouts • Pass-through holes on the sides (not just the back) • Removable/vented rear panels for airflow This would allow smoother connections and prevent cables from binding when the motorized lid opens and closes. ⸻ 4. Immediate Post-Purchase Price Drop Wayfair put this item on sale right after my purchase, bringing it down to around $1,800. Unfortunately, they would not offer a price match even though this was within days. My advice: Do not pay full retail! Wait for a sale. ⸻ Suggested Fixes for Buyers If you go with this stand, here are practical ways to optimize it: • (My to do list) Replace the remote with a universal RF remote or use a smart plug workaround to automate the door motion. • Drill widened cable holes in the back if you have consoles or AV equipment. • For the Epson QS100 specifically, place the projector slightly forward and lower it a few millimeters to avoid frame interference. • Add rubber spacers under the projector if you need micro-height adjustments. • Use cable sleeves to keep the wiring clean as the motorized compartment opens/closes. ⸻ Overall Verdict The Povison UST TV stand is visually stunning, structurally solid, and packaged with care. But it’s also held back by several avoidable issues particularly the cheap remote, cable management limitations, and lack of true universal UST clearance. At the full price of $2,402.69, it falls short of “premium.” At the sale price (~$1,800), it’s a much better value. If you’re willing to make a few adjustments, it can become an excellent centerpiece for a UST setup.
