These chairs are very poor quality. The screw holes were all messed up - either in the wrong spot, off centered causing the whole chair to be lopsided, cracked and split wood around the holes, which are very visible.

Very cheap wood is used, rough wood that leaves splinters, splotchy finish, misaligned bolt holes. The seat is nice, the style is nice, but the product quality is subpar at best.

3 of 4 chairs showed up cracked, scratched and broken even though the boxes were completely undamaged. Therefore, product must have been packaged and shipped defective.
