Nice table for the price. Sturdy, but the way the legs are designed in a criss cross pattern they tend to catch on my rug pretty. Overall I’d give it 4 stars.

So far, so good. Only time will tell if it holds up, but I think it will. I love the look of the coffee table and have already received many compliments. It's not as heavy as it looks, which is perfect for me because I need to move it around in my space. For lack of a better explanation, it is not a bit solid piece like a butcher block. Instead it is made from wood pieces, the edge hangs down creating the illusion that the wood is several inches thick. At my next big party I will be sure to ask guests not to sit on it. Not that people make a habit of sitting on coffee tables, but I can see how the aesthetic might compel someone to make an incorrect assumption about the strength/build of the table and treat is like a bench if seating was limited.
