I would not recommend ordering this item. I ordered it in black, and it came in a steel grey color (as shown in the pictures I posted). The pieces in the box were all completely wrong and mixed up (some pieces black, some grey and some blonde colored). Pieces of the shelves were chipped, and the box was damaged when it arrived. Looks beautiful in the pictures, but it’s very cheap quality. Definitely not worth the money

The shelf is not black. I order a black shelf. I received gray, had a replacement shipped, still gray. There is not even a gray option for order. There must be a manufacturer issue with the paint. You can see in the color in the photo I uploaded. I placed a black board in the background for comparison.

Included instructions were difficult to read; both because they were very faded, and because the fasteners are not bagged separate based on their identifier number. It's not a huge problem if you measure the length and diameter before installing. Shelf, once put together, is beautiful. The grey color is lighter than it is in the pictures, but looks good to me.

Great looking - not exactly quality but does the job.

Love this bookshelf. We like the green. It holds a lot of books other items. Would buy it again.
