We have a shoeless house so this small benchshoe organizer is perfect without being in the way. It would hold 8 pairs of my size 7 shoes or 6 of my BFs size 10.5. Only his flip flops will fit on top (my sneakers and low heels fit fine). High heels or don’t fit here and I doubt men’s size 11 or larger would fit. The cushion is loose and optional. We will likely add an adhesive if we don’t swap out. I addd contact paper inside to help with wear and tear. I really love the way this storage bench looks. It doesnt look or feel cheap and the simple yet unique design is exactly what I wanted. It doesnt feel rickety or flimsy and it was incredibly simple to put together, just attach the legs. Also, I loathe styrofoam and there was absolutely none in the packaging. This had its downside though, as it appears one of the hinges is slightly off. When I open the lid, one side scrapes a bit. I cant tell if the bench was manhandled by the shipper and that caused it or if its a design flaw. Some adjustment of the hinge on my part may fix it. There was also a small flaw in the stitching that probably no one will notice except me (though it still annoys me) and, as some other reviewers have stated, some of the legs had small knicks and scrapes.
