Very practical in use. I was able to organize myself at the office. I wish the sides weee just a little higher though.

The worst piece of furniture I have ever purchased. The file drawers do not fit standard hanging folders. The tabs on the folders rub against the top of the drawer when you open and close it. You can't even reach the back of the drawer to access any files. I was replacing an older 2-drawer lateral file cabinet of similar size and I can't fit even half of the files I have into this. And I purged some files already. I was planning to use one drawer to store some computer equipment (old laptop, tablet, some cords and other misc. items) but aside from the fact I need all the drawer space for files the bottom of each drawer is a thin piece of particleboard and will not support that weight. Be aware that you an only place files in the drawer front to back and not left to right to maximize space. The description also says "The 6 layer storage shelves can be installed according to the size of the item" which I foolishly interpreted to mean you can adjust them but they are fixed positions and you can only install them as shown in the images. I will be returning this item and fighting with Wayfair about not paying return shipping for an item of such poor quality.
