59" H Steel Chiminea with Log Holder - Black

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This fireplace is quite tall & light weight, as you can see,the firebox where the firewood goes is very small-it doesn’t hold much wood.However,I’m eager to be able to use it.I can’t right now,though, because it’s super hot where I live if I were to start a fire,my neighbors would call the police,they’d think I was crazy for lighting a fire in weather like this.

This chiminea has a really nice look and feels like a great decorative addition to a patio. It was easy to assemble and light enough to move around, which I appreciated. That said, the shape makes it tricky to use standard firewood. I had to cut my pinion wood down to fit, and while vertical placement is possible, it didn’t feel very stable. Getting a fire started was also frustrating—I tried multiple rounds of leaves, small sticks, and very dry wood, but couldn’t keep it lit. I ended up needing a starter log, which took away from the natural pinion scent. It does throw some sparks, so I’d be cautious using it in very dry conditions. The material also seems a bit delicate—I wouldn’t leave it outside in harsh weather, as it looks prone to scratching or tipping in strong wind. Once it finally got going, though, it produced a really cozy fire and gave off a decent amount of heat for its size. Overall, it’s a nice piece for occasional use or when hosting, but not the most practical for frequent fires.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very easy to set up and very easy to read instructions. Only thing I needed was a Phillips screwdriver. Very well built. The smoke doesnt bother us with the tall flue it has.

It comes with a rack to hold a few pieces of wood, and a fire poker. This was very easy to put together, 15 minutes from box to finish. I cant wait to have our first fire in this tonight.
