This bird bath heater is a little pricey but I think it is well worth it. I like the 6 foot cord and the thermostat keeps ice from forming. The birds eat at my feeders then come to get a drink. I recommend this product.

Awesome heater for our birdbath. It snowed today but we have water for our feathered friends!

We received our DE-ICER two days ago and to date it is performing as expected. The birds and squirrels are enjoying the water in these sub-zero weather.

I have tried other de-icers but I like this one best. The cord is nice an long so you don't need an extension cord and the 250 watts keep it working in even the coldest weather.
