little hard to understand directions on how to set up.

I now have 4 AcueRite indoor Thermometer and Humidity gauges Three of them work just fine One of the last two I purchased had a faulty Humidity reading I set all four side by side overnight and one the humidity reads 4 to 5 degrees higher then the other three

to deploy throughout my house as I was about to replace hvac system with top tier Carrier condenser/furnace/airhandler. Before deploying the hygrometers I lined them up side by side to check unit to unit accuracy. Three of the four had identical temperature and humidity readings, while the fourth was off only in humidity by 2 percentage points. Very good results and am happy with purchase.

I have a few different brands without backlights, and although this one is very accurate, unfortunately, it's very dim. If you don't mind getting really close to see all the numbers, it's a good device.

I bought 3 for my house, using in different rooms. I recently converted to heat pump to heat my house and want to monitor the change in humidity to add moisture in the winter when needed.

Works well, easy to read, quickly resets to changing temperature and humidity, well constructed.

Very accurate and quality made. Batteries last over a year. Versatile uses and data storage.

Everything seems to be working fine. I'm a bit confused about calibrating the hygrometer, how to do it or why I might need to. The instruction paper isn't very clear on this.
