Overall I really like the pool heater! It wasn’t too hard to put together. It did come in a really large box and we had to use the neighbors tractor to move it to the backyard. It keeps our pool nice and warm and will extend the use of our pool in the fall and early spring. I like how it also has an app you can use.

This swimming pool heat pump by Albott is very heavy duty. It took long than expected to have delivered because the first initial delivery was damaged in shipping but Wayfair was quick to replace the unit. Just know when ordering this heat pump it will need to be hard wired by a professional. We haven’t been able to use it much because the temperature has been in the high 80’s and mid 90’s and our pool is already at 87 degrees. It does seem to run pretty quietly and we are having a concrete pad poured to support the weight of the unit so it is still on the temporary wood pallet it was shipped in. The corner of the unit was damaged in shipping as shown in the pictures but it is just cosmetic. Can’t wait to try this out when the weather cools down, it will extend our use of the pool.

We got the 150,000BTU heat pump. A little overkill for our 18x33’ pool but I didn’t want to take any chances as our last heater (different brand) had a hard time keeping up. This is a big, heavy heat pump so be prepared to move it and get it in place. Our friend who installs pools came by to check it out and gave a thumbs up. Now we are waiting for our electrician to run a 220 line. He looked over the heat pump and had favorable things to say. Will update my review once it has electricity. Can’t wait for warmer water - this will extend our swimming season which is super important to me.
