I bought this awning to replace a previous one of the same brand. It came with a broken piece. The manufacturer would not replace the piece because they said I did not have the correct PO although I sent them the receipt with it. Wayfair said they did not have the number that the customer service was asking for. It is my belief that it is nonexistent. Anyway, we got the thing up with a salvaged part from the previous awning. Even without that problem, the installation is a nightmare! The suggested videos are not helpful at all. When fully extended, the canopy hangs about 4 feet off the ground. The manufacturer sent me a video on how to adjust it, but it was already as far back as it could go. I urge you to choose something else. It is poorly designed and if you have any problems customer service is not helpful.

So I was skeptical of the price, quality and engineering of this awning especially when I needed the larger 13x10 size, I was afraid it would be too flimsy but I was pleasantly surprised to find that the design and quality of this awning is very good. All the materials along with the engineering make it operate smoothly and efficiently the key is to mount it solidly and tighten all clamps so there is no movement. A bit of advice would be to not over tighten the small screws holding the two halves together they are meant to hold it together not for structural integrity. Common sense would tell you not to keep it open in a wind or heavy rain situation. My only complaint would be some of the directions get lost in the translation but the phone number they supplied was answered right away and the person on the other end was knowledgeable enough to answer all my questions. I do not regret my purchase at all.

We’ve had this awning for a couple years. Still going strong. We do cover it in the winter months. Was easy to install. Reduces our temperature in the house 10-15 degrees.
