Pretty good umbrella. One of the few half umbrellas with adjustable height and tilt (somewhat) that I could find. I have experienced the same problem as other reviewers in that if I open the umbrella according to the instructions, it wont stay open. Once I realized that I should open it from the back, pushing down on the center piece (see picture), rather than pulling down on the bottom rails, I was golden. Try opening it like you would a rain umbrella and make sure it clicks into place firmly. Otherwise, the size and shape offer us flexibility. We even open it and leave it vertical to block our large picture window to keep out the heat/sun (see picture). Want to buy another to cover another angle/patio door, but they are out of stock...

Does not stay open, not design for the slightest wind. bad mechanism all together.

Easy to operate but did come with a small tear at one seam. Did send a response within window of return/exchange but never heard back unfortunately. Otherwise happy with the product.

Does not fit into a standard umbrella stand hole. It's very close, but not close enough. Disappointing! Now what?

It took four months to receive the umbrella. Then, when we tried to put it together, the pieces wouldn't fit together. We had to pry pieces with a screwdriver to get them to work! When the umbrella canopy is open, the fabric is slack and the pole turns with the slightest breeze. Not well constructed! I do not recommend this product!
