Locking Post Mounted Mailbox

Great mailbox! Love the quality and the lock feature!

Great mailbox at a fair price! Very solid and better than the cheap ones on another major website. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because the post is connected to the base with just 2 screws (front and back position or 12 & 6 o'clock position). This leaves the post able to move slightly side to side, meaning you can rock it sideways just a little bit. If the company reading this wants to improve the design then I would say add 2 more screws at the 3 & 9 o'clock position so it doesn't move at all. A simple solution for us installing the current mailbox is to add shims on either sides to stop the movement. Otherwise I love this mailbox!

I have wanted a Vintage look mailbox for 3 to 4 years. When I saw this one on sale I ordered it. I saw an option to hire someone to do the work through Wayfair. I was thrilled and added it to my package. Prior to the arrival of my mailbox I began to wonder if the worker would bring concrete and other tools need to set it up. Wayfair emailed the name of the person. When contacted all he planned to do was put it together. I then cancelled that service and had to hire an independent which was more costly. I was very disappointed that I had to start over by finding someone to put it together and install it into the ground with cement and other items that had to be purchased. I love the mailbox but I didn't like the extra effort and extra cost; however I am glad I didn't pay over $100 just to get it assembled and not be in the ground or functional. One other item I didn't think about was you can't mail letters from this type mailbox. There is no flag or place to put outgoing mail. Does this look Bronze or Brown? According to my order I ordered Bronze which I really liked and expected. If this is bronze it must be an extremely light application. All things considered I am happy to have this mailbox. I do like the look.

Had this for awhile now, loved the mailbox but recently the stem of the box has started to split around its base.
