Better than expected.

Living in Florida, I am very particular about my beach accessories. I know what works and what doesn’t. This beach umbrella is unfortunately a miss for beach use. One wind gust would not only blow this umbrella over, but break the already light plastic spokes. It is also smaller than the 7’ as advertised. I was very surprised the beach umbrella arrived in the carrying case, no box, just the material case. As expected, the rod was damaged in delivery, as pictured. I gave this umbrella 2 stars for the color and that it actually has a tilt feature. This item is best used at home when gardening to add a bit of shade. There is a UV layer on the underside, however it is light and see through. Unsure of how much of the Florida UV rays it will block in direct sun, however I gave the second star for the addition of this feature. Lastly, the spiral feature to assist with digging the umbrella into the ground does not feel to be sturdy plastic. I had a difficult time standing it upright in hard ground in my back yard, so soft beach sand will not work. Disappointed in this umbrella.

This 7ft beach umbrella has a beautiful pattern that really stands out on the beach — I’ve received a lot of compliments on it! It’s lightweight and easy to carry, especially with the included carry case, which makes it super convenient for beach days. However, it’s not the sturdiest umbrella out there. It works well on calm days, but it can struggle to stay upright in windier conditions. I’d recommend using a good sand anchor if you plan to use it in breezy weather. Overall, it’s a great option for style and portability!
