Austan 108'' Market Umbrella

Early last spring I purchased this umbrella in Pacific Blue (looks like that color isn't available anymore). We set it up on our deck in late April, and it we really loved the way it looked. Unfortunately, within two months the tilt mechanism broke. We should have sent it back for a replacement, but we needed an umbrella, so we made due by manually pushing it to tilt. We figured it still did most of what it was supposed to do, so ... no huge deal. However, today — after keeping the umbrella stored safely in our cool, dry basement all winter — I put it into the base that we have ... and couldn't even get it to crank up ... and we are now a couple of weeks out of the warranty period. How convenient. (not) F or a product at this price, it is incredibly disappointing to say the least. (The attached photo shows the broken tilt mechanism, and the umbrella, as far open as it goes.) What do you think, Wayfair? Want to make good on this, even though it's out of warranty? That sure would be nice.

Umbrella is heavy and extremely great quality! The color is classic and it will last for many years! No base comes with the umbrella so I used a dual purpose side table to serve as the base. Also, it arrived one week earlier than promised!

I ordered three. 2 had good “Cords” on drawstring. This one has this piece of heavy thread to pull open umbrella. I fear it will break very quickly and Wayfair isn’t trying to help me

This was a lot of bang for the buck. It looks really nice and coordinates with some of the other patio decor I have. Nice and sturdy!
