I purchased 2 of these and they are NOT squirrel proof! After 1 week he chewed thru the wire and took feeder away the second one he pushed the bottom off and all seed came out. Ugg I should have asked for my money back.

i’m sorry i didn’t end up using this bird feeder. i have over 30 bird feeders around my house and know which ones work best. :( didn’t like this one

The squirrels chewed right through the metal and plastic. Little buggers! I bought 2 and they only lasted a month in my yard. The wildlife was tougher and smarter.

So easy to fill and care for I spend hours watching the birds come to feed

We ordered these feeders to replace old mesh feeders that were falling apart and feeding squirrels almost as much as the birds. So far most of the birds have been able to adapt (except for the cardinals, they still prefer the mesh feeder so we got one of those for them) and the squirrels have been kept out of the food - the little shut-off doors really work! We'll save on birdseed and hopefully have discouraged the squirrels from robbing these feeders, anyway.
