This base is nice and heavy and supports the umbrella standing alone on our Astroturf. I'm not sure about the single bolt to hold the upright to the bottom plate. I may take it and have the upright welded to the plate.

The umbrella stand is very sturdy and it was a perfect size for my 2” wide umbrella pole. It is nice and thin to the ground. I do not have a table for it right now, and it suspends the umbrella perfectly, even in the wind.

Heavy base with a large footprint, very tip resistant. The low-profile base fits under furniture easily and is a minimal trip hazard. Very minimal desibn works well with contemporary design.
