[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I didn’t know what to expect when I received this Alpine Corporation pond fogger, but as someone who loves to fiddle with making my outdoor fish pond better and better, I was excited to try it. And let me tell you, this is an awesome addition to my pond, and I absolutely love it!
The fogger came well packaged and in perfect condition. There isn’t much to put together…there is the lighted fogger, and it sits down in a floating ring. After attaching the cord, the cord to a power brick, and then to an outlet, you are ready to go.
I was shocked at how quickly the fog started…it is pretty much immediate. So you don’t need it to warm up the device, which is fantastic if you have excited kids waiting to watch. The fog is thick and billowing, and very fun to watch.
The lights are bright, though the effect of obviously more interesting at dusk or night. I consider this effect more of a bonus, as the fog is the absolute star of the show.
My pond is relatively shallow, so I wondered if that might hamper the output, but that certainly doesn’t seem to be the case…I certainly didn’t expect it to work as well as it did.
One thing I really appreciate is that the cord is very long…my outlet isn’t super close to my pond, so I love the length means I didn’t have to use an extension cord.
So far it’s holding up as new, but the instructions tell you how to clean and service your pond fogger, so there should be plenty of life for years to come.
My kids and I love this pond fogger by Alpine Corporation, and I certainly recommend it without reservation.
