Just what I wanted! I haven't assembled it just yet due to some constraints. However, this looks really easy to assemble as there are only 3 steps! The chair is very heavy and feels very sturdy when I was taking it out of the box. Perfect to lounge by the pool this summer! Update: looks great! Easy to assemble once you understand the photos in the instructions.

This is a very nice, well made lounge chair. There is assembly and I recommend not tightening any of the screws down until after you attach the stablizing crossbar to it. Or you will need to loosen them all again to attach it properly. I think I read the description wrong because I was expecting the head and feet sections to fold inward for storage, transport, etc… Only the top piece folds down and not all the way. The rest of it is solid. This is for placement on a semi to permanent level. You are not going to be able to take it to the beach, lake, etc… Very solid and sturdy. Comfortable to sit and lounge on. If you are from a high heat state, as I am here in Texas, you are going to want either a lounge cushion or towel for it if it is not kept in a shaded area. The black material is going to absorb the heat from sunlight as well as the metal. It is a very nice looking and solid piece for my deck area. I am very pleased with it overall.
