J’ai acheté cette mangeoire en cage contre les geais bleus qui la vident en moins de deux. Les mésanges se sont vite habituées à passer par les ouvertures de la cage pour atteindre les graines. Ça fonctionne à merveille!

This is the perfect cage for the Painted Bunting birds to keep the big birds from getting inside their caged feeder. Rectangle cages will never work because the big birds learn to duck down and get inside. Because this caged feeder has square openings which the little birds can get in but the big birds cannot. This is the number one cage that I found among many that fits perfectly for the painted buntings and other small birds.

Received as described. We have one resident chickadee that is so picky, it throws a few sunflower seeds out before choosing the one, and flies off with its choice. We installed a frisbee under the bird feeder to catch the chickadee's rejects, and the finches happily eat from the frisbee because their motto is "waste not, want not." Happy with the bird feeder so far.

Based on the five star reviews and that I was looking for a feeder that would keep cow birds and starlings away, I purchased this feeder. The smaller birds are hesitant to use it. There is not a large enough bottom base so the birds can perch on once inside. I wondered if there was a missing part but it appears this is how it is made. There are very few perch places on the tube. On a windy, stormy day and even on calm days the birds do not use this. They give up and move onto an easier tube feeder, which were less expensive than this overpriced one. These birds are easy to adapt to new feeders and this one has been ignored based on the above reasons. Very disappointed in this purchase.

Really nicely made bird feeder. Plan on getting at least one more. Secure lid to feeding tube. Easy to load feeding tube. Can be taken apart to clean the feeding tube. Big plus. Metal is power coated paint. It’s really really nice.
