Umbrella bracket which is made of cheap white metal snapped in a fairly light wind and rendered the umbrella completely useless. It is approximately 1 month old. Definitely not a good product in this respect. Had been enjoying it to this point. Fortunately when the umbrella collapsed it missed my wife who was sitting under it.

This umbrella set is absolutely beautiful, I would definitely buy it again if I needed one & it really makes a statement on our deck! Issue: we saw it on sale at 1/2 price so we ordered one right away, but as we were in the middle of renovating our deck, so didn't open it right away. When we did open it, there was a large hole in the base where something smashed through it, which took quite a bit of force to go through the packaging & base. We were not able to send it back & get a replacement, which was very dissappointing. Lesson 1, even if you don't need it right away - open all your packages or you might be pass refund date and you're out of luck of getting your damaged goods replaced!
