This chair is a great concept but the design and hardware aren’t the best. You can’t tighten down the bolts because they immediately start to strip. The poles definitely need to be bigger. It’s designed as a swing but it’s not sturdy enough to use as a swing. It’s basically a suspended chair and that’s what I wanted it for although I don’t know how long it will last. And when I say flimsy I wouldn’t sit in it if you are close to 300 pounds. I’m at 220 and I was kind of afraid

Please make sure you measure the base accurately! I purchased this for my balcony but the base does not fit properly. I ultimately ended up installing it in my mother's backyard. It's comfy but not as durable as I'd like it to be.

This little hammock sure has been a delight to our family. So nice to have a trivial sized hammock for portability and placement ease. I find the hammock, extremely comfortable and even with a kiddo on my lap we have room to curl up and sway. There was a surprise little pocket too! Could fit your phone or a slim water bottle. The hammock stand does not have excessive sturdiness- with aggressive sways it could tip over (like if a kid is being rough swinging). I feel safe in it with sensible sways.
