The mechanism is a heavy duty aluminum and it works well. Opens and rotates easily. They look great too. Very happy with the quality and price. It is a great value.

Got this for my 80+ yr old parents after their posted canopy was blown down and damaged by high winds last year They have no problem putting it up or down - including when the weather changed unexpectedly It is well made, was easy to assemble and we are very pleased

We live in Arizona where the summer sun is unbearable, even when in the pool. After looking into getting a shade sail installed, we opted to get one of these umbrellas instead and it is perfect because it’s attractive, well built, and easy to operate. I especially like all the different ways it can be adjusted. We chose a base with wheels, so in addition to adjusting the umbrella as the sun moves, we can also easily roll it to be used in any area of our yard. Much more flexible and more economical than a shade sail.

We've been using this for a few weeks now and it's exceeded our expectations! It was easy to put together and is so easy to use! I'm just 5' 3' and can easily put it up and take it down I can even manage the cover Love the ease and convenience of the tilt function and 360 swivel! Definitely recommend!
