Perfect for the cross X umbrella base for a different umbrella I bought here. Large and sturdy for our heavy umbrella. We used sand.

Generally the base is fine - not much to it. A couple things about it though. One needs to pay attention to where the wheels and drain plugs are before filling with sand/water. It would be nicer if the two halves to this base drained in the back instead of opposite - one side towards front of base and one side towards back of base. And there is no means to slightly lift the side opposite the wheels so you can manuever once filled or even slightly filled.

This base is made of high quality material but what I love most is that rather than having four parts to the base, like most umbrella bases, this has just two parts--looks cleaner/neater.
