I really was looking forward to enjoying this swinging chair. After sitting it this chair for only the second time the plastic roping popped loose in the front of the seat (shown in photo). The plastic roping is poorly attached to the frame. They are stapled to the frame. It did not come detached because of heavy weight and it states on the paperwork not to flop down in the chair so, we knew to sit down lightly. I reattached the piping with electrical tape. Well, after a few more times sitting in the chair another one of the plastic roping popped loose. Again we reattached it with electrical tape. We secured all the plastic roping on the entire chair. So far it’s holding together. Other than the issue with the poorly constructed ropes attached , I like the chair. It hangs on my back porch. We had to purchase a longer chain because the chain that came with the chair was not long enough.

The pieces have an unusual geometry and its Physically difficult to get the pieces to fit together. However, There are only a few steps and once you get the pieces aligned and eight bolts in you are ready to go. It has everything necessary to create a really solid anchor in an overhead. The hammock is Fairly heavy and cumbersome, and its really a two person job to hang up. As far as comfort, Sitting in it with your legs Hanging over the side is actually somewhat uncomfortable due to the hard metal rail at the bottom that Presses against the back of your thighs. Probably would be more comfortable for a small kid that can snuggle up inside it

Product looks ok but lacking on quality and missing parts on delivery. Have to call the customer service.
