This bench will last forever! Very well made.

Love the bench. Purchased to serve as a Memorial to our son who was killed in the line of duty.

Great bench for the money, sturdy design, easy to assemble.

This is a wonderful bench. It's weather-proof, heavily weighted so it won't get moved around by high wind and the color options mean you can find one that is an attractive match for your home. However, we believe there is a problem in the manufacturing process. Our bench arrived and we spent 2 frustrating hours trying to assemble it. While assembly is quite simple, and should take only 30 minutes max, the issue was with the top slat on the back. There are 2 slats that are secured to the legs with two screws each. The problem is, the holes on the slat don't alight properly with the pre-drilled holes in the legs. We tried and tried and tried, different screws first, various angles, etc., but to no avail. Note--this was only an issue with the holes drilled for the top slat of the back portion of the bench. The front slat on the seat portion of the bench is also a two hole mounting configuration, and those holes align perfectly. The back slat screws miss just enough that if we were to drill out new pilot holes to properly accommodate the screws, they would intersect with the existing holes forming one larger hole, which would likely result in a screw that was not a secure fit/hold. So, I decided to contact Wayfair customer care. They, as always, were tremendous, shipping us a new bench right away, and informing us that we could keep the defective bench or donate it. The new bench arrived a few days later and upon attempt to assemble it, again the top screw holes wouldn't align--ugh! However, since Wayfair had been so quick to try to ensure we got a good product, we were reluctant to bother them again, and who has time to deal with the hassle of returns? So after doing some research on the web, we spent money on an apoxy resin mixture that could be used to fill one set of the holes. After a couple days of curing, we were then able to drill properly aligned holes in the legs without risk of boring out new holes that were too large for the screws. The apoxy smells bad and requires extreme care when you are working with it, but it got us to a solution to have the bench we wanted. Again, this is not a Wayfair issue. It would seem to be a machining issue at the manufacturer and we can only speak for the 4' model that we purchased. Aside from the inconvenience of this issue, it really is a sturdy, great, attractive bench, that we can leave outside over our harsh Ohio winters and it won't fade, crack, rust or rot. 4 stars due to the screw hole issue... 5 if the issue didn't exist.
